Free Moving Basic "Welcome Home Movers"
Settling into a new country is an exciting but challenging journey. and we fully understand Moving to a new country is a life-changing experience, and settling into your first home in Vancouver should be exciting—not stressful.
At DuMonde Helping Hands Foundation, we’re here to make your first steps into your new home in Vancouver as smooth as possible through our "Welcome Home Movers" program. We provide free basic moving services to newly arrived Permanent Residents PR and Refugee Status families who arrived within their first year in the Vancouver area.
Who Is Eligible?
At this time, This program is currently available to:
• Permanent Residents: Families who have arrived in Vancouver within their first year of residency.
• Refugee Families: Newly arrived individuals and families seeking to establish their new homes in the Vancouver area.

How It Works
Step 1: Apply – Fill out our online application or contact us directly to check your eligibility.
Step 2: Schedule – Once approved, we’ll work with you to set a convenient available moving date, subject to moving date availability.
Step 3: Move-In – Our team will arrive to assist with moving your belongings to your new home.
Food Bank "Neighborly Nourishment Program"
Proposed Program Details
1. Monthly Food Bank Distribution:
• Hosted at our community center or designated randomly selected venue.
• Open to registered families and individuals in need, particularly immigrants and vulnerable households.
• Managed by trained staff and dedicated volunteers to ensure smooth and equitable distribution.
2. Senior Outreach Home Care Delivery Service:
• Personalized deliveries for seniors and individuals unable to attend in person.
• Coordination with local community leaders to identify beneficiaries.
3. Community Engagement:
• Use of events to provide additional resources, such as information about local services, support groups, and educational programs.
4. With the collaboration with a Logistics Delivery Company that gave us access to up to 9 vehicles (Trucks, Vans & Cars) to successfully execute our Food Bank Program, "Neighborly Nourishment Program"
